The 2022 Pinot Noir Yates Conwill Vineyard Field Blend opens slowly in the glass, mysterious and slightly exotic, as spiced blood orange and dusty violet flowers give way to dried black cherries and clove. It washes across the palate with ease, soft-textured and round, with rose-tinged red berry fruits propelled by brisk acidity. Tension carries the finish, which is grippy and long, leaving nuances of cranberry and a savory herbal tinge. Patience will be required to enjoy the full impact of the 2022 Yates Conwill.
